SILKY-ICE™ Cooling Blanket

Ok, I don't write reviews if I like it great and I typically carry on or tell whomever my recommendations...However!! Look it, it's hot it has been so hot this summer, when I was younger I'd be basking soaking up the heat now I'm miserable tbh. This blanket is was the first I didn't return. It is cooling, it is silky and drapes over your body in the most comfortable way. Bonus if you need more umph you can layer a blanket over it and it still stays cool to your skin underneath. I have both the thin and now this version and I couldn't be happier. Now, is this the most attractive blanket for those who make beds pristine and tucked in no. But does this drape on your bed in the most effortless chic way imo yes. The colors are more muted in person as well which I'm glad. But from someone living in a trailer with just fans this has gotten me rest. I am in love with this purchaseSo there you have it.

This blanket is so soft and cooling on both sides. I wish they made sheets and pillowcases with this material. I also wish I would have bought a bigger size so I could lay on it and cover myself. Again very soft.

This blanket is a complete game changer. I run hot at night when im sleeping so im constantly tossing and turning. Finally i have found something that keeps me cool throughout the night. The material is very breathable as well which i like and its on the thinner side which is perfect for summertime.

Loved this so much, I bought another one as a gift! The most softest and coolest blanket! I don't know how it feels cool all of the time, but it does! Don't miss out on this one! I am sure to buy more in the future!

I ordered one of the smaller options for a college dorm during the late summer days. It effectively stays cool when left alone. When you use it, it can warm up a little where is makes direct contact with you but if you move it it’s noticeably cool. This helped me survive the most hot days.

This blanket is the first cooling blanket I have received that actually works. If I lay in one spot for extended times I can get a bit hot but just moving and making an adjustment underneat the blanket and it is miraculously cool again! I love this blanket and highly recommend it!

I love this blanket!! An issue I have with a lot of blankets is that they can be a bit stiff and can fall quite awkward. This blanket is the complete opposite- it’s super soft and flows nicely. The cooling component is also very effective.

I absolutely adore this and I use it as my comforter. I love how every time I get in bed it’s nice and cool and I for one love the fabric. It is very smooth and can be slippery but I think it compliments it’s cooling properties. Yes overtime the blanket will absorb your body heat I mean it can’t stay cold forever. But then I just move it around to a cooler spot. I haven’t wash it yet and I know some other people were struggling with it not holding up well in the washer. Hopefully mine will be fine but if anything big happens I will try and update. I agree with some of the criticisms I read when contemplating purchasing this. 1 sewn in circles on the blanket are sooo redundant and feel the blanket would be so much better without them. But I’m not super bothered by it because of how much I like the cooling effect. 2 if I were to order again I probably would’ve gone with the king size on my queen bed, because I like a big blanket you can really curl up in. The queen size covers the sides of my bed but is pretty short on the end. But this is personal preference and it hasn’t ruined my experience or anything. Lastly I agree with another reviewer that I think this product could benefit from a larger selection of colors, but thankfully for me the green goes well with my room. Okay! Hope this helps! :)

What kind of wizardry is this?!? I was so skeptical prior to purchasing a “cooling blanket” as there are so many making this claim but are just made of cheap bamboo which are simply thin, not the same thing. Thanks to Kooi post on Facebook I decided to give it a shot. So glad I did! I am so impressed with this thing I have told everyone about it. I am a 44 year old female who slept hot since birth but since THAT time in life has arrived it’s often insufferable. I still have no clue how this thing works but I can say this, it stays a good ten degrees cooler in the room and all you must go is move it around if gets hot next to your body & nearly instantly it’s cool again! For the first time this summer I was able to turn my a/c off for a portion of the night. Such a comfort especially in the heat wave torturing SW Missouri right now. So if you are on the fence about ordering this magic piece of fabric, do it now & thank me later ladies! <3

I have 2! 1 for my tv chair and 1 in bed. These are GREAT! They do stay cool, just enough weight. When temps are so high but you still like a blanket these fit my needs. Highly recommend IMO

I ran to make this review. I literally just received and opened this package and had to come rave about it. I have tried so many cooling blankets. They're either too thin, I like some weight, or they didn't cool at all. This blanket, however, is the exact right thickness. Not quite as thick as a comforter but thicker than the other so called cooling blankets. It's very comfortable and I cannot wait to use it tonite. It's cozy and exactly perfect so far! I definitely recommend. It's already cool to the touch.

I sleep very warm at night, so I have been looking for a way to sleep cooler at night for a few years now. It's not just that I sleep warmer at night, but I think all of the memory foam in today's mattresses promote a lot of heat from underneath. And then we use sheets and light-weight coverlets that only seem to trap the heat and make things worse for us hot sleepers.I have tried blocking the heat generated from the memory foam in the mattress by using 100% cotton mattress covers, double fitted sheets made of 100% cotton, etc. To date, it's better, but those solutions haven't been enough to keep me cool at night. The good news is that this blanket finally did the trick!When I looked at the tag on this Silky-Ice blanket, I thought that there was no way that a blanket that is non-natural fiber fill would have the ability to keep me cool during the night (in spite of it being cool to the touch). I couldn't have been more wrong! That said, I don't use this as a blanket - let me explain.I did try it as a blanket and it is the perfect weight, but I couldn't appreciate the cooling properties like I thought I would. Although my new mattress is composed of an inner spring system and memory foam along with the cooling tencel, I suspected that the heat was still being generated and being trapped underneath any sheets or coverlets – and even my new cooling blanket.So, I decided to sleep on top of the blanket. That worked perfectly to keep me cool! The blanket is so inviting when I climb into bed and I have not awakened once during the night. The material is so incredibly soft and cool to the touch, and it feels so comfortable to sleep on! The other way I have used this cooling blanket is during a power nap. I lie down on top of the blanket (right on top of my quilt) and sort of pull the other half over me. It feels so nice and cool!Overall, this blanket feels wonderful and I love that it's machine-washable! Sometimes you have to experiment with things to find what works for you, and the way I use this cooling blanket works for me. Now, I just need one for my husband...and for my Havanese who is always hot. And I wonder if you make cooling pillows – or at least cooling pillow cases!!Get one of these cooling blankets – they are awesome!

I can't rave enough about these blankets they are so amazing. I had never heard of a cooling blanket before, and I just can't get enough! I have them all over the house now! They travel easily, super silky soft and they magically have transformed my sleep. I am truly a hot sleeper, and these just give me the best sleep ever. I really do not understand the science behind a cooling blanket and to be honest, I really don't care, all I care about is do they work and indeed they do. I have bought 4 of these for the other hot sleepers I know and I have gotten nothing but compliments and praises all around for giving them a cooling blanket. Highly recommend these and when I need more, these are the ones I am going to buy again. Hope this review is helpful!!

This blanket is cool to the touch and so soothing. It warms up pretty quick but not so much that I’m sweating.It’s disappointing that their color options are so few and so pastel but it doesn’t matter because it’s the best cooling blanket ever.

I LOVE the color! But that’s not what the review should be about. So, the blanket is coool on one side and more cold on the other side. I love it and my previous “cooling blanket” is getting kicked out of bed!

Hot summer nice is solved by this blanket. You can feel the cold surface by touch. It’s amazing. It doesn’t trap body heat and the whole blanket is so smooth and soft texture. Feel really good at night. I feel like I have my personal AC cover my whole body and the temperature is just comfortable. Great buy. This is a must have blanket.

A MUST HAVE if you have hot flashes ladies! I JUST started them 2 weeks ago and couldn't sleep. Last night was my first night using this blanket. It significantly helped me sleep and stayed cool all night. Best purchase I've made possibly ever!

I’m extremely picky with blankets because a lot of things are itchy to me. So when I first got this blanket it was a game changer! I did have to replace one because I used it so much that the material was getting less silky. Which I would expected. I now have 2 others and I can not sleep without them. It’s not only the cooling aspect, it’s the silky smooth soft material. Seriously just buy it! You won’t be disappointed!

Very slippery silky, almost like a mesh silky feel.Has more weight to it than expected, but not in a bad way.My only issue is that the colors are washed out. I got the Blue/ Gray and the blue looks almost white in the light and the gray is very light too.Quality is great

So soft and silky, the material stays cool to the touch and honestly feels like butter on your skin. It’s not too light where you’re going to be cold but it’s not too hot where you’re sweating. I love this! Highly recommend!!!

For me to come on here and write a review this has to be one of the best blankets I have ever owned. If you're a hot sleeper you have to own this . Even if you are not the coolness of this blanket and the softness is absolutely incredible. This is not a heavy blanket but it is perfect weight for where we live in Florida for all year long. I just can't say enough about how soft and cool this blanket is. It's hard to walk by the bed without wanting to lay on this lol. I highly highly recommend this blanket

I have to say, these cooling blankets have completely changed my sleep. I didn’t even know cooling blankets were a thing until recently. They’re so silky and soft, and they keep me cool all night, which is amazing since I usually overheat. They’re also super light and easy to take with me when I travel. I got a few for my friends who have the same issue, and they love them too. I don’t know how they work, but they really do. Definitely recommend these if you’re looking for a better night’s sleep.

I like in South GA next to the FL line and have been searching for a cooling blanket for a long time, I researched and researched to try to find one that really was cooling, and although I am on a tight budget, I always thought if I find a real one I will definitely pay as much as they want for it!! When I saw this one I thought it was to cheap to be really cooling and that I would have to pay hundreds of dollars for a real one but I thought it had lots of good reviews so I might as well give it a try and then send it back when it disappointed me, however I was wrong! This thing is awesome!! It really is cooling, you can feel the difference in just touching this and then touching a regular blanket! I plan to buy another for me and one for my brother for Christmas. It is amazing!!! Thank you guys so much for not disappointing me and making one so affordable also!!!
