Kōōihaus is an independent magazine about home décor and interior design. We write for people setting up real rooms in real homes — not showrooms — so most of what we publish is practical: size guides you can actually measure against, honest reviews of new collections, and ideas that earn their place instead of just looking good in a photo.

Kōōihaus has been online since 2021; in 2023 it took shape as a small curated shop for home goods. Over time the writing outgrew the store — readers came for the guides and the collection breakdowns, not the checkout. So Kōōihaus became what people were already using it for: a magazine. The original product catalog stays online as a reference archive; ordering is currently paused.

Our coverage leans toward what people actually search for: blanket and bedding dimensions, lighting math, small-space fixes, and the new collections worth watching. When we cover a launch, we use the brand’s own official imagery wherever the brand makes it available for editorial use, and credit it.
